Howard Qingsong Tu

Prof. Tu is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at RIT. He was a postdoc researcher in the laboratory of Prof. Gerbrand Ceder at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. His research has focused on solving electro-chemo-mechanical problems in energy storage systems (such as solid-state batteries) and water desalination systems (such as reverse osmosis). he has collaborated closely with experimentalists/theorists from both LBNL and UC Berkeley in different research areas during his Ph.D. and Postdoc period.
